By Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 1019/2026 on the occasion of Education Workers' Day, state awards were bestowed upon distinguished faculty members for their significant contribution to national education and outstanding professionalism.
The Order "For Merit" 3rd Class was awarded to:
Serhii LYASHKO — Head of the Department of Computing Mathematics;
Oleksandr NAKONECHNYI — Professor of the Department of System Analysis and Decision Theory.

The faculty's best lecturers have been selected!
We are publishing the results of the selection process for the Best Lecturer Award at our faculty. Candidates were nominated by their departments, after which the Faculty Academic Council selected the top lecturer across three categories.

On June 17, the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics hosted a significant event — a graduation ceremony for Master’s degree recipients.
This year’s graduating class brought together talented young researchers and developers who successfully completed complex and high-tech academic programs. Even during these challenging times, the students demonstrated a high level of preparation, resilience, and dedication to their work.
University and faculty leaders addressed the graduates with words of congratulations. Master’s degrees were awarded by:
Acting Rector of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv Valerii Kopiika;
Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics Olena Kashpur.
In their speeches, the leaders emphasized that a KNU diploma is not only a confirmation of high qualifications but also a great responsibility, as it is precisely on the shoulders of young specialists in computer science and cybernetics that the mission of our country’s digital transformation and technological renewal rests. The graduates were wished courage in realizing their most ambitious plans, career success, and boundless energy for new achievements.

14-15 березня 2026 року в Києві відбувся чемпіонат міста з класичного пауерліфтингу серед юнаків та дівчат, юніорів та юніорок – змагання, що об’єднали найсильніших спортсменів столиці.
Яскраво заявила про себе на цих змаганнях студентка групи ІПС-22 факультету комп’ютерних наук та кібернетики Бомко Анастасія. Вона продемонструвала високий рівень підготовки, силу характеру та витривалість, здобувши впевнену перемогу у ваговій категорії до 57 кг серед юніорок.
Упродовж виступу спортсменка показала вражаючі результати: 107,5 кг у присіданнях, 55 кг у жимі лежачи та 110 кг у становій тязі, що стало вагомим підтвердженням її наполегливої праці та цілеспрямованості.
Вдалий виступ дозволив Анастасії не лише піднятися на найвищу сходинку п’єдесталу у своїй категорії, а й увійти до трійки найсильніших юніорок Києва, виборовши почесне 3 місце в абсолютній першості.
Цей результат відкрив їй шлях до участі у Чемпіонаті України.
Бажаємо Анастасії подальших успіхів, нових спортивних досягнень, впевненості у власних силах та гідного виступу на майбутніх всеукраїнських змаганнях!
