On August 27, 2026, a working meeting was held between the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Cybernetics, Olena Kashpur, Department of Systems Analysis and Decision Theory staff, and EPAM Campus representatives Denys Hrynov and Oleksandr Tkachenko.

During the meeting, the Dean expressed gratitude to EPAM for donating 250 units of equipment to the faculty in August.

Key Areas of Cooperation:
• Education & Practice: Mentorship for 1st–2nd year students, internships, and hands-on practice on real EPAM projects for senior and Master's students;
• Tech Focus: Integration of AI-based development tools (SDLC), Data Science, and applied mathematics;
• Faculty Growth: An upcoming AWS teacher certification program and involving EPAM experts in shaping thesis topics.

Світла пам’ять ІВАНУ ВАСИЛЬОВИЧУ СЕРГІЄНКУ (13 серпня 1936 року – 2026 рік) академіку Національної академії наук України доктору фізико-математичних наук, професору видатному українському вченому у галузі інформатики, обчислювальної математики, системного аналізу та математичного моделювання, лауреату чотирьох Державних премій України в галузі науки і техніки

З глибоким сумом сповіщаємо про непоправну втрату — пішов із життя Іван Васильович Сергієнко — видатний український учений, чиє життя стало взірцем безмежної відданості науці та служіння Україні. Його багаторічна наукова діяльність, фундаментальні дослідження, вагомий внесок у розвиток інформатики, обчислювальної математики, системного аналізу та математичного моделювання здобули широке визнання в Україні та світі. Праці Івана Васильовича стали основою розвитку багатьох наукових напрямів, а його професіоналізм, мудрість і людяність назавжди залишаться у пам’яті колег, учнів і всіх, хто мав честь працювати поруч із ним.

Світла пам’ять про Івана Васильовича житиме у його науковій спадщині, учнях та численних послідовниках.
